About
I am in the final year of my PhD investigating the implementation of modelling and machine learning within bioprocesses. My research has focused on developing methodologies for kinetic, multiscale, and hybrid modelling across a range of biosystems, including CHO cells, lutein-producing microalgae, anaerobic digestion, and chromatographic separation. I have also worked on data-driven fault detection of an industrial batch bioethanol process and model-based optimisation under uncertainty. My motivation for pursuing research in bioprocessing stems from a keen interest in developing more sustainable production strategies.
